Ticking things off is what takes the edge off in this scenario because that’s what one of the main core causes of the mounting frustration rn
I think it’s the increase overtime that adds edge. I can totally see other scenarios where there’s a different root cause (forced to do something everyday that you really despise that could be the root cause and in that case taking the edge off would require possibly a plan to change the status quo or finding something worthwhile in the daily practice)
